A Leader You Can Trust

Mike Clampitt has always taken pride in service to others. Mike spent 27 years protecting his community as a firefighter. After his retirement, he has continued his mission of service helping in the community and being a leading voice for conservative policies in Western North Carolina. In 2016, he was elected to serve in the North Carolina General Assembly serving the 119th district of Jackson, Swain, and Haywood Counties. Now, he is running again to represent our Western North Carolina values in Raleigh. We need a strong, honorable leader that we can depend on and Mike Clampitt is the man for the job.

Lower Taxes for All

Mike know that lower taxes help businesses grow and help families make ends meet. Our state economy has seen massive growth through regulatory and tax reform. As your representative, I will build upon that success to make sure more of your hard-earned money stays in your pocket.

Mike’s Plan for North Carolina

Defeat COVID-19

As a state, we must provide the funding necessary to increase quick and effective testing, find common sense safety measures, and lend a hand to businesses in need.

Reopen NC Safely

Thousands of small businesses are forced to close because of the Covid-19’s effects. School children are forced to go to class online without high speed internet. I will work to find solutions to reopen businesses and schools in a safe and responsible way.

Grow our Economy

Under Republican leadership, North Carolina has become one of the best places to do business in country. It will take hard work to rebuild the parts of our economy affected by the pandemic, but we will be back stronger than ever through free market principles and low taxes.
